| Wheels | The beam moves on four wheels, which have needle roller bearings to ensure ease of movement up and down the length of the pit. Parallel wheels are fitted as standard to suit flat angle pit edges with tapered wheels as an alternative for use on RSJ supporting rails. Spring loaded wheels can also be provided if requested, these retract when the jack is under load so locking its position. |
| Power Pack | A high output air pump produces the high output flow to the cylinders raising the rams quickly to the load. The design offers air over oil hydraulic power for advance and retract of the cylinders. Control is by a single air valve, "up for advance and power lift and down for retract". |
| Rams | The two double acting hydraulic cylinders have a 400 mm stroke. Top quality chrome plated rods are used as well as the latest seal technology to ensure a long and trouble free life. Each cylinder is fitted with safety hose burst valve and a 90 degrees movement isolation valve for easy visual confirmation of its position. |
| Warranty | 5 Year warranty (T&Cs Apply). All jacks designed and manufactured in accordance with Machinery Directive 98/37/EC and engineering standard: BS EN 1494:2001 (Materials handling equipment), complies with EC requirements and LOLER lifting regulations. Each unit is fully tested, marked with serial number and supplied with a test certificate. |
Need a Spreader Beam, Telescopic or fixed?

Fixed Spreader Beam.
13t capacity spreader beams are available in telescopic or fixed forms. They are designed to accommodate vehicles with independent front suspensions – particularly buses and coaches.
A Spreader Beam will also enable you to reach jacking points beyond the width of your pit.
Having a spreader beam is a legal requirement for ATF & MOT dedicated test lanes.
Telescopic : Fully closed the lifting points are 920mm apart, fully extended they are 1400mm apart.
Fixed : When sliders are closest to the centre the width is 660mm (centre to centre of spears) and when the sliders are at their widest the width is 1270mm (centre to centre of spears).
Your inspection pit must be a minimum of 800mm wide for the rams to be able to spread far enough apart to fit the Spreader Beam on the jack.
