Our advertised MOT package is a complete Class 7 ATL set-up and includes the headlamp aligner, 5.6m platform four post lift with wheel-play detector and turning-plates, recessed or surface mounted lift, 2.8t jacking beam, roller brake tester with deluxe cabinet, petrol and diesel emissions tester and ancillary pack. Not all our customers require this MOT package, some will require a longer lift for instance, while others may already have some of the MOT equipment items listed.. This priced MOT Bay is listed for you as a guideline to give you some idea of the costs involved.
2. Delivery & Installation included at your companies premises.
3. A site survey will be completed prior to installation.
4. Customer to supply electrical supply & connection to the lift and roller brake tester.

The Boston B501 headlamp aligner is supplied with guide rails, lux meter, dual alignment lasers and a brushed stainless steel top panel and 3.5m of track (longer lengths available if required)

A choice of Vehicle Lifts for your MOT Bay installation.

The Boston 5.6m platform length four post lift below is one of the choices we install into Class 7 MOT Stations.

However, not every MOT Station is the same, so we offer a choice, longer or shorter platform lengths or larger lifting capacities if preferred. Remember there are still a lot of extra long vehicles such as limousines and motorhomes that come under Class 7 testing regulations. 

Boston B452-560C four post lift : 

MOT Four Post Lift, 4 tonnes capacity, 5.600mm platform length, includes wireless operation play detector and ball bearing mounted turning plates.

Boston BJB28 Manual Jacking Beam (Air operated version available)

The BJB28 is the mid range jacking beam we offer but it has a hefty 2.8 tonne lifting capacity.         

This beam is used mostly in our Class 7 MOT testing stations and has a double extending top beam for extra wide reach, ideal for the larger vehicles now common in the UK market.

Manually operated beam, with pump-action lifting and automatic three position locking device, however, for faster operation in busy garages there is also our air operated version, the BJB28A.  

All beams come as standard with hose burst valves, finger guards, adjustable height screw pads and lifting blocks, and fitted support arms to match your vehicle lift chosen.

In addition to the high specification, the BJB20 is manufactured here in the UK.

Approved for use by the DVSA as MOT Connected Equipment, the D712W brake tester delivers fast, efficient testing. 

In standard configuration, the D712W when included with the vehicle weighing system is DVSA Approved for Automated test lanes. It can also be retrofitted or supplied with software and roller cover kit enabling motorcycle testing to be carried out. Using the latest Boston SW900 software, every test is stored automatically should it ever need recalling, and remote 'over the internet assistance' is built-in.  

'over the internet assistance' enables the MOT Tester to email, from the brake tester console, direct to our engineers, allowing them to connect immediately and diagnose your system remotely! 

A fantastic system for the busiest of MOT garages.

The chassis is fully galvanised and then painted with a durable, hard-wearing industrial finish.

Rollers are supported with a five-year guarantee and are manufactured with longevity in mind. The D712 easily deals with the extreme demands of modern day brake testing and busy MOT Stations. It has a load capacity of 4,500kg and the whole test (non-ATL) can be operated wirelessly using our radio frequency ruggedised RFC-95 remote control.

Approved for UK MOT Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5L and 7 , this model benefits from four-wheel drive (4WD) brake testing as standard and automatic efficiency calculation for simple pass / fail test results.

Optional control system layouts are available to suit individual premises (GCP3 and GCP4) and our emissions packages can easily be added at any time to provide a complete combined brake tester and emissions testing system. Simply put, you won't find a better brake tester on the UK market.

Boston EMT7 Dual Emission Tester.

DVSA "Connected" MOT Equipment Approved :

The Boston EM7T is a super fast combined wireless Gas & Smoke emissions package. Supplied without a control station (as the control station is already included with the brake tester). It is intended as a bolt-on item for customers who already have a PC and printer in their workshop or you can simply connect the emissions trolley to your existing system (via USB or bluetooth), install the software and that's it.*

Using bluetooth wireless connectivity, the compact gas and smoke modules can locate neatly at the end of the test lane and communicate with your existing system; and with the addition of RFC-95, our RF remote control, both models can be controlled remotely from inside the vehicle.
